Partnerships at Locking Stumps

CLG - Collaborative Learning Group

The Collaborative Learning Group comprisies of a group of Warrington Primary Schools who work together on the principles of aspiration, collaboration, open and honest relationships and mutual support.

The aims of the Collaborative Learning Group are to:

- Enhance school improvement across the cluster of schools within the CLG

- Develop the workforce through high quality CPD/ leadership provision

-  Build capacity within the CLG to ensure all schools are on the pathway to good or outstanding

- Develop and share good practice across the CLG

Headteachers meet at least once per term to discuss school issues and collaborative working. Recently we have worked together on KS2-3 curriculum to ensure progression. 

 

Lockies' Little Learners

We are working closely with the Pre School (private provider).

Aim of the partnership:

To ensure that children who are pre school age are as prepared as possible for their transition to primary school.

To ensure the parents and carers of these children have a wealth of information to support their child's education. 

To share good practice and develop continuity between different providers.

Actions and Plans

Regular Meetings to share good practice and to provide an update on current progress

Parent Workshops to include all partners / parents

Shared CPD between providers

 

Thomas Risley Church

Thomas Risley Church and Locking Stumps School are closely situated (approximately 30 metres away). 

Both work in partnership with each other to serve the community. Joint working includes:

- Rememberence Occasions

- joint assemblies

- Use of facilities

- Community events (Summer Fair, etc)

Lynx Club

They provide a Breakfast, After School and Holiday Club for children aged between 4 and 11 years of age.  They are based at Locking Stumps Community Primary School and currently only take children who attend this school. The Lynx Club and School work closely together.
