As part of our curriculum we provide a range of enrichment opportunities for our children. In Year 2, 4 and 6 children have the opportunity to experience a residential visit. Information about the different residentials can be found below.
Year 2 - Gulliver's World (1 Night)
Our Year 2 children embark on an exciting visit to Gulliver’s World, where learning and adventure go hand in hand. Through a variety of engaging, hands-on activities, they develop confidence, teamwork, resilience, and problem-solving skills while exploring the world around them. From outdoor challenges and interactive learning experiences to then enjoying a part of the theme park -we have witnessed children conquer fears and support others - a really unique experience. The trip enriches their learning beyond the classroom, encourages independence, and creates unforgettable memories with friends.

Year 4 - The Anderton Centre (2 Nights)
Each year, our Year 4 children enjoy an exciting residential visit to The Anderton Centre in Chorley, usually taking place in the spring term around March. Through a range of adventurous land and water-based activities, children develop confidence, resilience, teamwork, and independence in a fun and supportive environment. Set within the beautiful surroundings of Rivington Reservoir, the residential encourages pupils to challenge themselves, strengthen friendships, and create lasting memories beyond the classroom.
Year 6 - KEPPLEWRAY (4 nights)
At the beginning of Year 6, our children embark on an exciting four-night residential visit to Kepplewray in the beautiful Lake District National Park. Through a wide range of outdoor adventure activities, they challenge themselves, develop resilience, and build confidence while working together as a team. From climbing and water-based activities to problem-solving challenges and exploring the natural environment, the experience encourages independence, leadership, and perseverance. The residential provides unforgettable opportunities for personal growth, strengthens friendships, and creates lasting memories as the children begin their final year of primary school.
